App Description

The following description comes from the Google Play Store description of the app:

This project has recently launched on Kickstarter!!

Note - This application REQUIRES the hardware pod to function.

BluMote consists of 3 main things:

1) The pod hardware. The pod is connected to your Android phone via Bluetooth and sends the IR (infra-red) signals from the IR emitters to your equipment. The pod is typically fastened somewhere near the equipment setup but does not need to be visible. It is roughly 2"x2.5" in dimension so it is easy to find a home for it. It is powered with a standard micro-USB cable which is common among smartphones already (so you probably have some of these already).

2) The IR emitters. These can be purchased through us or online. They use a standard 3.5mm style jack and usually have 1-3 'heads' which have the IR emitters in them. This is what you fasten near your IR receiver of your device so that it can be controlled. They are fastened by a sticky adhesive on the emitter and connected to the ports of the pod.

3) The Android software from the Google Play store, this is what allows you to interact with the hardware.
